Aside from the obvious difference that one path is a 3 month program and the other is 6 months, they have some key differences, so let's talk who they are meant for:
This 90 Day program is for the woman who has around 10-15lbs to lose, has some healthy habits in place already (has worked out/been active 2-3 days per week over the last 6 months to a year), and doesn’t need as much accountability, but appreciates having direct support when she needs it/has questions. I’ll meet you where you’re at in your fitness journey and craft a program that will make you stronger week after week. We all start at the beginning, even if that’s bodyweight or light dumbbells. I think part of the reason I get discouraged is because I have unrealistic expectations of myself and how quick I should see results. Can you help me with this?
Unrealistic expectations are usually byproducts of old programming from diet culture and clickbait posts on social media. Instead, I’ll teach you the slight edge principles that will help you become aware of the small milestones along the way that you and I can celebrate together!
What about Ozempic and other GLP1 medications? Do you work with clients who use these medications? What's your opinion on them?
While this is a nuanced conversation, GLP1 medications for those with type 1 and 2 diabetes and those who struggle with non-stop food chatter in their minds (and therefore can’t tune into their satiety and fullness cues), these medications can be transformational.
However, they are only one part of the equation for this population of people. There are still the skills, knowledge and accountability necessary to have a balanced relationship with food (especially eating enough protein and calories to support muscle growth), create healthier habits, exercise to reach your specific goals and more. And yes, I have worked with clients who use GLP1 medications!
I’ll be traveling during the program, how can I still be successful?
Many of my clients travel for work and/or leisure! I offer travel friendly options, plus if you decide to sign up within 72 hours, you’ll get 2 extra months FREE! Keep in mind, most of my clients workout 3x per week, and are able to do so while traveling.
I need to speak with my spouse/partner first before getting the go-ahead.
First, are you asking your partner for permission or support? It’s important to tell your partner why this is important to you and why you feel this is different from what you’ve tried before. Be confident when you speak with your partner, they’ll be happier to support you when they sense your certainty! Second, you have 72 hours to take advantage of the bonuses and savings. This should give you enough time to speak with your partner about joining and decide if it’s the right fit for you.
I want to do this but the real reason I get stuck & put things off is because I’m not sure if I trust myself to follow through and commit.
I can appreciate the radical honesty it takes to admit that you have self doubt. We ALL experience self doubt. And the reason we come up against it is usually because we are wanting to evolve to the next version of ourselves. When we create goals or want something different for ourselves, our doubts are exposed and make us uncomfortable.
Something that really helps me when I feel self doubt creeping up is telling myself, “doubt my doubt”. Before you decide that you don’t trust yourself, or you’re doubting your ability to follow through, just check in with yourself.
Could you actually be ready for change (which is why you’re reading this) but fear is standing in your way? Do you actually want to believe your doubts?
The best gift you can give yourself is to make a decision, one way or another, right now. Staying on the fence only perpetuates this fear and sucks your energy. If the answer is no, that’s fine. If the answer is YES, even if you’re scared or feeling doubt, know that I’m super happy to be working with you and supporting you on your journey.
What helps me take action when I feel a bit paralyzed is to envision myself at the fork in the road and what lies ahead down each path. And from there, I make the decision that best supports who I really want to become.
It might be helpful to ask yourself,
“is living in the pain of my current situation more important than the discomfort of spending time, money and energy into making these life changing habits and improving my health?”
